of Arena of Verona).
Following
for the same street (Pietra Bridge Road) soon we will see the
Cathedral of Santa Maria Matricolare, known as the Duomo of
Verona, the bigger Gothic church of Italy. The cathedral was
built in 1,117 in the place of two churches that were destroyed
in an earthquake and his interior is in the roman style, due
to the reform performed in the century XV.
Continuing

through the bridge and following for the margin of Rio Adige

The

with limestone in the year 30 before of Christ (before of the
Coliseu) in an area that stayed outside of the walls of the
city, his external ring was almost entirely destroyed in the
earthquake of 1,117 and its reconstruction occurred in the renaissance.
The only part still existing of the old external ring is called
"Wing", through the which we can perceived that the
arena was still more magnificent than after reconstructed.
Taking
the Mazzini Road we arrive to the Plaza Erbe (also called of
Piazza delle Erbe or Plaza of the Herbs), the busy and oldest
plaza of Verona, localities of the Roman Forum and where, in
the medium age, was installed a market of herbs or seasonings
